G.P.A. Italiana pneumatic presses are available in the following versions:

Hydro-pneumatic units Power units kN 20 ÷ 320

GPA Italiana CM hydropneumatic power units, mounted on PCM hydropneumatic presses, can be sold also separately.
They are available with or without control valves and are quite ideal devices to be installed on machines for assembling of light pieces.

Their main features are:

- power range 20 – 320 kN,
- linear or “U” layout versions,
- hard anodized aluminium pipes allowing a high level of protection against oxidation and high pneumatic performances,
- high speed and low air consumption in the approach and return stroke,
- working stroke with smooth application of power using the pressure intensifier hydraulic circuit,
- reduced consumption of tools and dies, thanks to smooth power application,
- reduced noise level,
- reduced maintenance requirements.

G.P.A. Italiana CM hydropneumatic power unit takes advantage of a wide range of optional accessories, such as:

- digital pressure switch with programmable set points, for a simple check of the required power on the piece,
- micrometric adjustment of the working stroke, on the linear units,
- total stroke mechanical adjustment, on the “U” units.

Hydropneumatic presses kN 20 ÷ 320

The PCM hydropneumatic press models produced by G.P.A. Italiana use a CM power unit Linear or “U” version now available with extruded anodised aluminium cylinders. The CM cylinders can be used in any position, thanks to the enclosed oil tank with pneumatic spring.
The presses for manual loading and unloading take advantage of a redundant two way circuit monitored with electrical control board.

G.P.A. hydropneumatic presses take advantage of the following features:

-	high speed and low air consumption in the approach and return stroke,
-	working stroke with smooth application of power using the pressure intensifier hydraulic circuit,
-	cylinders with hard anodised aluminium pipes allowing a high level of protection against oxidation and high pneumatic performances,
-	reduced consumption of tools and dies, thanks to smooth power application,
-	reduced noise level,
-	reduced maintenance requirements.

Dial feed units with press kN 5 ÷ 320

G.P.A. Italiana dial feed units with press are combined units which allow a simple automation of assembly and machining works.
G.P.A. Italiana dial feed unit is a standard compact machine composed by a pneumatic or electric GPA rotary table and by a pneumatic or hydropneumatic press with force up to 150 kN.

They are equipped with:

-	side and top shields including front pivoting shield with openings for pieces,
-	control board with PLC and «touch screen» operator panel.

The dial feed units can be customized on request with:

-	hydropneumatic presses with force up to 320 kN,
-	handling units for piece loading and/or unloading,
-	supplementary stations with working units or piece control,
-	light curtains combined with double body valves for press control,
-	force-stroke measuring circuits with graphic display.

Pneumatic rotary tables

G.P.A. Italiana pneumatic rotary indexing tables are available in two versions: TAR 270 and TAR 160. TAR 270 can handle bigger loads, aided by the hydraulic control and double cylinder which can be supplied on request, whilst TAR 160 is ideal where the need for compactness prevails and loads are limited.
Their great resistance, careful design, simple operation, scarce need for maintenance and precision that is constant over time are the features that make these products extremely valid for rotating transfers in light mechanical work or in assembly automation.

Main construction characteristics of G.P.A. Italiana pneumatic rotary table are:
- cast iron basement,
- central shaft in casehardened tempered and ground steel,
- lubrication through central oiler and side grease nippler,
- preselection of the indexing number,
- maximum load which can be carried kg 100 on TAR 270 and kg 20 on TAR 160,
- air connection on the central shaft for pneumatic devices on the top plate,
- pneumatic or electropneumatic control valve.

A wide range of accessories is available for G.P.A. Italiana pneumatic rotary tables, such as:
- top plate in different diameters, made in steel or aluminum,
- end stroke switch,
- rotating joint for air distribution on the top plate.

Mechanical rotary tables

G.P.A. Italiana mechanical rotary indexing table series TA is a square axis unit which, thanks to a cam carrying several bearings fixed to the index, transforms the uniform rotation of the inlet shaft in an intermittent rotation of the output disk. The number of standard indexings ranges from 2 up to 32. From 32 up to 540 indexings on request.

The main advantages of TA series mechanical rotary tables are:
- continuous and totally cam controlled displacement,
- high working frequency,
- self locking in dwell position,
- high repeatability,
- low installed power and low maintenance.

G.P.A. Italiana TA series mechanical rotary tables are available in several versions:
- different models according to carried loads, which can be very high,
- delivered with or without motor gears,
- delivered with or without top plate for pieces transportation.

Therefore tubes, heads and the main body are alluminium alloy and the baklash us reduced to very low values. Three standard rotations are available: 96°-186°-366° On request special rotation angles up to 726° and rotation adjustment.

High torque and low weight with powerful construction for heavy duty and long life service are the actractive characteristics of this series of rotating cylinders. Rotary valves from G 1/8 a G 1/2

Our rotary valve is a 4 way valve (one inlet, two outlets and one exhaust connection) with 2 or three stable positions. It is usually employed for pneumatic cylinder control. Thanks to the materials used in the construction (anodized aluminium body and lapped Delrin distributors) and to the particular feature of no gasket work this valve can be considered a reliable and low maintenance product. Air supply shall be adeguately filtered.

Press safety valves

MEP-A is a series of safety valves for presses and pneumatically acting safety subject groups; they are 3 way/2 pos. NC active components for compressed air powered single acting actuators control. To achieve their safety duties according to effective standars, such as EN 692 for CE countries, these valves must be redoundant (double-body) and equipped with a dynamic failure monitoring device.
They now spread in four models from nominal size 10 to 40, all with BG approval.
